A Brief Overview
The Facilities Intern will support the hospital's Facilities Management team with basic tasks related to maintenance, inspections, and organization. This internship offers a hands-on learning opportunity for students interested in facilities operations in a healthcare setting.

Essential Functions

  • Assist with routine inspections of hospital spaces to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Help monitor and organize maintenance requests using a tracking system.
  • Support the team with basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory tracking.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and instructional materials.
  • Participate in the testing and evaluation of new infrastructure systems and technologies.
  • Help organize and participate in team meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Accompany team members on walkthroughs and learn how equipment and building systems are maintained.


Education Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in high school, trade school, or a college programpreferably related to facilities, construction, or engineering. Required and
  • Interest in learning about building operations or maintenance. Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and maintain confidentiality. Basic computer skills and good communication. Preferred
